A La Carte Service Menu

Thank you for understanding that – like your property rental – we say no to other customers to make time for you. Services may cancelled and/or re-scheduled up to 3 hours before your start time. After that, they are non-refundable.

Run an Errand

In order to run your errand, you agree to:

  1. Include reasonable driving time from Joshua Tree in the errand time booked, if relevant.

  2. Pay an invoice for additional time required if the errand takes longer than was booked and paid for.

You understand that RETREAT IN THE DESERT will make every reasonable attempt to communicate and gain approval for extra time, but if you are not available we will prioritize completing the task and bill for additional time.
 
If your errand requires a purchase, you agree to:

  1. Pre-pay for items with the merchant IN ADVANCE, or

  2. You agree to provide ERRAND MONEY as an add on. Should your errand require additional funds, you agree to reimburse RETREAT IN THE DESERT within 24 hours of errand completion by Zelle. 

If payment for additional time or errand money is not received, you understand your account will be banned in perpetuity, and you agree that RETREAT IN THE DESERT may call you a "major poopy pants" on Facebook and social media platforms.

In return, Retreat in the Desert agrees to:

  1. Do errands as quickly and efficiently as possible and be honest about the time it takes to complete the task.

  2. Not bill for time not directly related to the errand.

  3. Provide receipts for all purchases, and

  4. If the amount of time to run the errand is less than the errand money return the excess by Venmo or Zelle within 24 hours of the errand completion.

RETREAT IN THE DESERT also agrees to be called a "major poopy pants vendor" on Facebook and social media platforms if any of the terms are violated.

Monthly Co-Hosting Plans

We sincerely hope you are happy with our services at Retreat in the Desert and we will not hold you hostage to cancellation fees. Plans will auto-renew each until cancelled. You may cancel at any time on our website.

Monthly subscription fees for Hot Tub Cleaning and Emergency Co-Hosting will be prorated through the day of cancellation. Pricing Strategy and Guest Management subscription fees are non-refundable but payout percentages are prorated through the day of cancellation.

Property Management Packages

Full property management packages require an initial two month commitment but are subsequently month-to-month. After the initial two-month period, the plan will auto-renew until cancelled.

A Co-Hosting Contract will be drawn up and signed. All packages require us to be added as a co-host on Airbnb. For listings on non-Airbnb platforms, you must be set up on a PMS (Property Management System) software and an initial set up fee will apply. You will be invoiced for the non-Airbnb properties on the first of the month and payment is required by the fifth day of the month or your services will be paused until payment has been received.

Cleaning fees are billed at time of service at our set rates (below). Cleaning fees MUST be paid at the time of service (as this is the payment convention in the High Desert). A request for payment will be made through Zelle.

Premiere Packages: Although we schedule pest control, landscaping, handyman, and pool maintenance, the contractor fees are not included in the package and you will be invoiced separately for these items.

Cleaning Fees

Current cleaning fees for A La Carte/Property Management Packages is as follows:

1 BR or Studio or Trailer $125/$100

2 BR/1 BA  $150/$125

Any 4 BR/BA Combination   $175/$150

Any 5 BR/BA Combination   $200/$175

Any 6 BR/BA Combination  To Be Negotiated

Spa Cleaning Fees

Monthly service (only) $200/mo

For owners with a Property Management Package $180/mo
